Kontrust is a rising star in the rock and metal scene, best described as 'Guano Apes meets Rammstein'. The band's international breakthrough came after the release of their catchy hitsingle 'Bomba'. 3FM-DJ Eric Corton gave the single airplay on the Dutch radio. Peter Pan Speedrockspeedrock

Baroeg Open Air's promoters have already tried to book this band a few times before, but it's the first time now they succeeded: Peter Pan Speedrock will perform at BOA! Influenced by punk, hardrock, rockabilly and metal, this three-piece from Eindhoven invented their own style: speedrock. We're pretty sure their music will appeal to a lot of BOA-visitors.

For quite a while, this American three piece has been a stonerrock / 'desertrock' force to be reckoned with. Karma To Burn's music is influenced by genres like psychedelic rock, bluesrock, heay metal and doom metal. The characteristic 'swampy' gitaarsound can be compared with a similar band like Kyuss.

Do Or Die has been around since 1999 en has become one of the most important hardcore / metalcore bands from the Benelux. Good bands are usually discovered quickly. After just one full length, Furyon is already called 'the next big thing in (hard)rock and metal' in their home country England. The album gets very positive reviews in the international press as well. While Furyon's music is a mixture of progressive rock, classic rock, hardrock and heavy metal, the band appeals to a wide audience.

Honkyrock 'n roll | sleaze rock
honky.jpg

This three piece from Austin / Texas was founded by Butthole Surfers bassist Jeff Pinkus in 1996. Ever since, the band has played rock 'n roll / sleaze rock right from the heart. In the past, the band toured with Nashville Pussy, the Reverend Horton Heat, Fu Manchu and Down. At the moment, Honky crosses Europe with Karma To Burn and Peter Pan Speedrock. Sounds like: a sleazy version of ZZ Top!
